Midwife · Pediatric Nurse · Hospital Night Supervisor
Licensed midwife with 8+ years of clinical experience in maternity care, pediatric nursing, and hospital supervision — offering expert, compassionate support from antenatal through postnatal care.
"Every mother deserves a midwife who truly listens — one who walks beside her, not just ahead of her."
I'm Eliane El Khoury Ziade, a licensed midwife and pediatric nurse from Batroun, North Lebanon. For over 8 years at Hospital Emile Bitar, I have had the profound privilege of guiding mothers and families through one of life's most transformative experiences — from the first heartbeat to the very first breath.
My approach blends clinical precision with deep human compassion. Whether I'm supporting a first-time mother through the uncertainty of early pregnancy, assisting a complex delivery, or helping a newborn and her mother bond in those tender first hours — I show up fully, every time. Since 2022, I also serve as Hospital Night Supervisor, leading 15 clinical staff per shift and ensuring every patient receives safe, dignified care even in the stillness of the night.
I hold a Licence in Midwifery from Holy Family University (Distinction ++) and am certified in BLS, ACLS, and CPR. I speak Arabic, English, and French — because I believe communication is the foundation of trust.
From the moment you discover your pregnancy to the weeks following birth, I provide continuous, personalised support tailored to your needs and wishes.
Personalised prenatal consultations covering health assessments, baby monitoring, nutrition guidance, and emotional preparation — so you enter labour feeling informed, confident, and cared for.
Skilled, continuous support through every stage of labour — from early contractions to the moment your baby takes their first breath. I stay by your side so you never face it alone.
Dedicated care in the critical days after birth — monitoring your recovery, supporting breastfeeding, guiding newborn care, and watching closely for any signs that need attention.
Expert, compassionate help with latching, milk supply, engorgement, and feeding schedules. Breastfeeding is natural — but it is not always easy, and you deserve real support, not just reassurance.
As both a midwife and a trained pediatric nurse, I provide attentive follow-up care for your newborn — monitoring development, answering your questions, and giving you peace of mind.
Private sessions designed to demystify labour, pain management, and the postpartum period. Knowledge is power — and every mother deserves to walk into birth feeling prepared, not afraid.
Eight years of clinical experience have taught me that the best outcomes happen when science and humanity meet. Here is what that looks like in practice.
I do not treat pregnancies — I care for people. Every decision, every recommendation, every conversation is centred on what is right for you and your baby specifically, not a protocol or a schedule.
Certified in BLS and ACLS, with years of night supervision in a live hospital environment, I am trained to stay composed and decisive when it matters most — so you never have to worry.
I believe an informed mother is a confident mother. I take time to explain everything — what is happening, why, and what your options are — in Arabic, English, or French, whichever feels most natural to you.
From your first antenatal visit to your newborn's first weeks, I offer continuity that most hospital care cannot. You will never have to re-explain your story to a stranger in the delivery room.
Eliane was with me through the hardest and most beautiful night of my life. Her hands were steady, her voice was calm, and I never once felt alone. I owe her more than words can say.
I was terrified going into labour for the first time. Eliane explained everything so clearly and made me feel like I had a real partner in the room — not just a clinician. She is truly exceptional.
After a difficult pregnancy, Eliane's postnatal visits were a lifeline. She helped me with breastfeeding, answered every question with patience, and checked on us like family. I could not have done it without her.
What sets Eliane apart is how she treats you as a whole person, not just a patient. She remembered every detail, followed up every time, and made the entire journey feel safe and sacred.
Whether you're newly pregnant, approaching your due date, or simply have questions — I'd love to hear from you. Consultations are available in-person and online.
